Lawmaker to appeal denial of immunity in DUI case | ajc.com
As if our SAT scores, our Governor, and "Intelligent" Design don't make us look dumb enough... now we have a state legislator arguing that he can't be prosecuted for a DUI. Not because he wasn't DRUNK -- but because the state constitution does not allow state lawmakers to be arrested during sessions of the General Assembly. It was mentioned on Fox News by Brit Hume tonight. Graves should be forced to pay the taxpayers back for every dime it is costing the court system to hear this stupid defense appeal.
Oh, and don't miss the fact that his lawyer's name is "Bubba." Very nice.
